Si Centro is one of the top language schools in colonial Cuenca, Ecuador, with recommendations in popular travel books such as Lonely Planet, Footprint, and Let's Go.

It was sold, activated, and designed from scratch while I was living there in 2001. I had no laptop or similar personal resources, so the only web design tools I had at my disposal were what my local internet cafe had: Microsoft Paint for graphic design (you know, /Programs/Accessories/Paint), Notepad for handcrafting the HTML code, Microsoft Photo Editor, a dialup network connection, and Spanish operating systems.
